Dr. Gene Rohacz, D.P.M.
Clinical Director and Founder of the Rohacz Center for Foot Care. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 1992. He served his podiatric-surgical residency at the Hunter Holmes-McGuire VAMC in Richmond, VA. Dr. Rohacz received a patient's letter of praise for outstanding service from the VA's newsletter.
Dr. Gene Rohacz is an active staff member at both Hillsdale Hospital and Eaton Rapids Hospital.
Dr. Gene Rohacz, D.P.M., is board certified by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry, Primary Care in Podiatric Medicine, and Lower Extremity Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Rohacz is also a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, and International Foot and Ankle Foundation.
In the community, Dr. Gene Rohacz has served as the attending Podiatrist at St. Peter's Free Health Clinic. Dr. Rohacz has also been involved in shoe drives both on the local and national level. In fact, Dr. Rohacz has helped organize and dispense over$15,000.00 in free shoes for the homeless in southern Michigan. Dr. Rohacz has received the Hillsdale Daily News "People Choice Award" multiple years.
Dr. Rohacz is a published author in the American College of Sports Medicine, June 2021. "Prevalence of Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome with coexisting neurological disorders" and the Journal of the Peripheral Nerve System, June 2021. "Prevalence of Coexisting Neurological Disorders in the Lower Extremities".
Dr. Rohacz has served as treasurer and Secretary of the Southern Division of the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Rohacz has been involved in the Cascades Exchange Club and has served as president, vice-president, and board member. Dr. Gene has also received "Exchangite of the Year" award for his service and dedication to the club.
Dr. Rohacz also holds a black belt in Isshinryu Karate. He finished in the top ten for hand forms in 2005 in the PKC. He is also an amateur Magician.
