Clinical Director and Founder of the Rohacz Center for Foot Care. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 1992. He served his podiatric-surgical residency at the Hunter Holmes-McGuire VAMC in Richmond, VA. Dr. Rohacz received a patient's letter of praise for outstanding service from the VA's newsletter. Dr. Rohacz is also on staff at Hillsdale Hospital.
Dr. Rohacz is board certified by the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgeons. He is also a member of the American College of Lower Extremity Surgeons, American College of Sports Medicine, and International Foot and Ankle Foundation.
In the community, Dr. Gene Rohacz has served as the attending Podiatrist at St. Peter's Free Health Clinic. Dr. Rohacz is also been involved in shoe drives both on the local and national level. In fact, Dr. Rohacz has helped organize and dispence over$15,000.00 in free shoes for the homeless in southern Michigan. Dr. Rohacz has received the Hillsdale Daily News "People Choice Award" multiple years.
Dr. Rohacz is a published author in the American College of Sports Medicine, June 2021. "Prevalence of Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome with coexisting neurological disorders"
Dr. Rohacz has served as treasurer and Secretary of the Southern Division of the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Rohacz has been involved in the Cascades Exchange Club and has served as president, vice-president, and board member. Dr. Gene has also recieved "Exchangite of the Year" award for his service and dedication to the club.
Dr. Rohacz also holds a black belt in Isshinryu Karate at Spirit Martial Arts in Parma, MI. he finished in the top ten for hand forms in 2005 in the PKC.
